Phlox Therapeutics is a spin-off from the Amsterdam University Medical Center that focusses on finding a cure for laminopathies, a genetic heart disease. Next to its program on laminopathies, Phlox Therapeutics is aiming to leverage similar strategies to target other cardiomyopathies. As such, Phlox Therapeutics strives to develop multiple gene therapies that are able to reduce the negative effects caused by genetic mutations.
